Christmas Eve
Enjoy a Devon Cream tea upon your arrival at the hotel in the afternoon, and then settle into your room with your copy of our Giant Christmas Quiz, guaranteed to keep your brain busy over the Christmas weekend! Later on, join us in the lounge for a welcome drink with canapés before a delicious four-course dinner with wine in our beautiful restaurant. After dinner there will be music from 'Jumping Out'. Details of Midnight Mass are available at Reception for those who wish to go, with hot chocolate and mince pies on your return.
Christmas Day
Start Christmas day with a leisurely breakfast then open your presents with morning coffee and shortbread biscuits. After a pre-lunch drink it is time to enjoy a five-course lunch with wine in our Chandelier Ballroom with music from Dave Brimble, followed by a relaxing afternoon in the lounge with tea, cakes and mince pies. We finish the day with Chef's Grand Christmas Buffet in our Restaurant.
Boxing Day
Enjoy a hearty breakfast between 8.30am and 11.00am. Coffee and muffins will be served in our lounge at midday. Then it will be time to set off to see 'Sleeping Beauty' at the Theatre Royal. Tea, cakes and mulled wine will be waiting for you on your return. This evening enjoy a four-course dinner with wine and entertainment with Geoff Taylor and his tribute to Frank Sinatra.
Monday 27th December
For those of you leaving the hotel today it is time to say our fond farewells, but not before a leisurely breakfast. For those of you staying on with our St Nicholas Break, it will be a time to relax and unwind with our selection of board games and films, or take a stroll across Dartmoor to walk off the turkey, or drive into Plymouth for the sales.
